Just joined this forum to look for some advice for my daughter who has just started a degree in documentary photography at Newport in Wales.
I attended the Polytechnic of Central London (now the University of Westminster) in the late 1970's and did Photographic science (very dull). I've made a living on and off with photography over the years including Rostrum photography but I moved into computer graphics, events and design a few years ago when I started my own company.
Still enjoy taking pictures, last year my travels took me to lots of locations and whilst I didn't get a lot of time to myself I had an enjoyable day in New York.
Anyway, I'm off to the main forum to ask advice about a suitable DSLR for her, she uses traditional film at the moment but wants to use digital at a higher level than her Nikon Coolpix P5100 allows.
