Hello, this seems to be a fantastic forum to have stumbled upon. I have been reading it for a week now and it has given me loads of information and even more importantly inspiration.

I bought my D3100 a few months ago but haven't taken too many photos so I am definitely a learner. I just got a NIKKOR 55-300mm lens yesterday and have been out today with it:

I am definitely looking forward to improving and trying different styles of photography as my technique improves with the assistance of this helpful and friendly forum community.
