Hi all,

My name's keith and i own a Nikon D5000. I bought it last year and it's my first proper DSLR, my previous camera was a Canon ixus 750i point and shoot. I wanted something i could get more creative with.Many years ago i had a practica slr which i thoroughly enjoyed.

I mainly shoot travel photography, street, candids and BMX (i'm a BMXer).

I hope to learn more about all aspects of photography and to improve my knowledge so i'm hoping this forum will guide me in the right direction

Also go to Amazon and take a look at David Busch's book Nikon D5000, I found this better than the manual.
