I am a part time photographer from Kansas in the USA. Looking forward to participating in the forum discussions, well mainly questions I have, and the photo contest.

Spent some of the summers of 2008 and 2009 in KS - nr Benton... and experienced the best thunder boomer storm of my life in Wichita! You've had some snow out there recenty but I think you're warming up a wee bit now.

You'll get to see a lot of UK countryside and town pics here - will be good to see yours from Stateside.

Kansas has some great places, I live closer to Kansas city, but have spent time in Wichita. I will hopefully get some of those thunder storms this spring, maybe catch some thunder snow, but that is very rare. Looking forward to see the UK countryside.
