I joined this forum yesterday and this is my first post.

I am 36 years old and live in Glasgow.

I bought my first serious camera just over a year ago. Its a Panasonic Lumix G2 and I have 14-42mm and 45-200mm lenses.

Mainly I have been using it as a point and shoot camera using the 'intelligent automatic' button, however I am starting to learn how to use it properly. I have a rough idea what I'm doing now.

My main interest is landscape photography and I am hoping to learn more about this area from the forum.

I am going to the lake district in a month and hope to put my camera to good use. Any helpful advice would be appreciated.

Really good to have you here and I hope you enjoy your trip to the Lake District.
There should be plenty of inspiration for you in the landscapes photo feedback section, but if you want some specific advice we also have a Talk Landscapes section where you can ask about anything that you need to know.

I have noted the day and will have a think about what I can do:thinking:. My camera clock is synched to the website in the link.
