Hi all,
Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. So, hi!
I'm not new to photography having taken photographs all my life but this was always compact, point and shoot cameras. About 5 months ago, I decided to take the plunge and get a Nikon D3100, which I am very pleased about! I've currently got the lens kit 18-55mm VR, 55-300mm VR II, 35mm f1.8 and just the other day a raynox dcr-250 macro conversion lens. I was keen on getting the 105mm Micro lens but at over £500 decided that it was too expensive in the hands of an amateur. I didn't realise how expensive photography can be! I also use Lightroom 3 for post-production.
I'm pleased with the progress I've made as a photographer in the 5 months so far but there is so much more that I would like to improve especially my landscape photography which I think is lacking some punch. So, expect some posts to critque some of these photos!
Cheers,
DK
