Just found this forum, it looks a lot friendlier here, some others I have had the misfortune to sign up to are very much brand clannish!:bat:
I think you could class me as a bit of veteran when it comes to photography, bought my first camera circa 1974! :thinking: Long time ago and still learning!!

Thanks for the welcome! I don't mind a bit of banter between can - nik or what ever what I can't do with is tech-head geeks who try to tell you that his piece of gear far superior to anything you have and has all tech spec to back it up.... who cares! I have a simplistic view of photography, "get out there and shoot!" There is a lot to be said for old Fleet Street adage "250th @ f/5.6 and be there"
