Hi peeps

Sold my Nikon d70 and moved to the dark side got a Canon 500d with 18-55IS kit lens
Looking to upgrade to something bigger lens wise found that quite limited.

Have been out once so far and enjoying it. The nikon never left auto but I'm now learning F stops (makes photos darker) Iso(noise) Shutter speed(Does what it says on the tin) Cant get my head around DOF anyone give a quick explanation

all the points you made are quite easy to understand after a while
first get some mistakes and then find out how to correct them
dof is on a sticky i think
