Hi, have just joined and thought I would say a quick hello to you all, boy is this an expensive hobby!, my other two hobbies are not much cheaper either… (woman and cars) :love:

I would like to get to grips a bit more with my flash photography, so will start with looking through some posts on here, if anyone knows any must read posts can you point me in the right direction please :)

Hello David, yeah will try and make an Exeter meet as you do kind of learn more from someone else than you can from a book, do many people turn up?

Have lived in three different places in Exeter it’s a nice place to live mate

You have a good taste in cameras too :)

I see your into audio stuff, I used to be a sound engineer for over ten years, I really miss the fun of live music, don’t miss the late nights though.
 
oooh funky, I just do stuff with the student radio station so its more fun than professional :D

we don't actually have anything planned, though a plymouth one was mentioned

keeping an eye on the meeting place forum is a good shout

nowt wrong with organising your own as I'm a bit crap

A strobist meet up could be a good shout if you want to get into flash properly, I really wanna hit one as theres sooo much to learn
