Hi Everyone,

Thought I'd say hello as I've been looking at the forums for a while now :)

Not sure what to say really, recently upgraded from a Fuji S5600 to a Canon 550D with a 50mm prime to start off. I'm still experimenting with styles, but love macro and architectural photos, brings out the geek in me B-)

I hope for some critique in the future, need some in this thread :thumbs:

There are plenty of of great places around Coventry for architecture!

Welcome to TP :wave: there is a very active local TP members scene if your interesting in that side of things too :thumbs: the 550D is a very capable camera :thumbs: speaking as some one that uses the same level although a couple of years older version :lol:

There is a lot to see in and around Coventry, what kind of photography interests you?

don't want to scare you off, but occasionally i gatecrash this area of the world (well S-on - A)... have even met a couple of the reprobates above.... a most hospitable and friendly bunch..
 
There are certainly some very pretty places to visit around s-on-a, I used to go to college there :)
 
Thanks again everyone :) I went the in the Summer, sadly didn't have a camera at all back then though. I'll have much more free time when my exams are over :thumbs: and the weather will (hopefully) be more cooperative :P

He usually has an issue with anything you do, real headache material -.-

On a serious note, he was at the American Football on Sunday and he insisted I shoot with a smaller aperture and a longer shutter spped -.- Thankfully he has his own camera now :thumbs:
