Hello, I've just registered so thought I'd say hi.

I'm Rachael, 20 years old and live in Cornwall. I'm a 2nd year geography student, love horses and photography (obviously!!).

My main interest is sports photography, especially horses, but have also taken photos at rugby matches, of surfing. I'm currently using a Canon 350D, battery grip, 18-55mm kit lens and a Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 USM lens. I'm just getting into landscape photography and within the next few days will be buying a Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM... currently looking for the best price.

Will try to post a couple of my favourite photos, hope this works...

Howdy Rachael :) welcome to the forums, you have caught some great action in all those shots :thumbs: Really look forward to seeing more of your landscapes :D I love Cornwall, and love landscapes! that sunset shot of St Michaels Mount is lovely too.

Hi Rachel, its nice to see people from the south west on here, I thought they were all londoners and northerners. I'm from near Bude where abouts are you.
Also in a rather bizzare coincidence I am shooting my first rugby match for the student paper (1st year at Exeter) tomorrow which should be interesting, Your rugby shots look immense :D.
 
Welcome Rachael, bring your camera if you're ever in the Scottish Borders, the place is fanatical about horses and rugby! Lovely shot of St. Michael's Mount.
