Hi from Corfe Mullen, a couple of miles outside of Wimborne, Dorset. A keen amatuer, I've always had a liking for photography but never really did much about it until now.
I dj and take photos of people partying and put them up on a screen pretty much instantly. I wasn't happy with a results so blamed it on my camera! It was a Canon 400D. At Christmas I splashed out on a 7D and since then have added the lenses.
I now realise I know diddly squat about photography as with the 400D all I ever used were the presets, never AV or TV. Results weren't bad but not what I was hoping for. Of course I got a big shock when picking up the 7D and I had to make decisions - absolute nightmare
Still, I'm persevering and things are improving with practise.
I look forward to a meet up or two and learning from the clever people on here.
I took some shots at Swanage at the weekend so I'll put a few in the transportation section.
