Hi,

I'm Jayne and have been lurking for quite a while. I'm a complete beginner but have been given a Canon 450D:D (as long as b/f can use it when ever he wants to attach it to the telescope)

I've bought myself some books to read and hopefully I'll get the hang of it with plenty of practice. The Creative section keeps drawing me back and eventually I'm hoping to have a go at some star trails and light painting.

I don't get much time to go online but when I'm here get ready for some stupid questions :bonk:

Hi Jayne and welcome to TP. The 450 was my first camera and I still use it as a backup. Great camera to get you into photography.

As for questions, no question is a stupid question as they say, so just ask away.

And let's see some pics posted soon :thumbs:
