Hello from Cardiff

Hi all.

My name is Mark & I have received a gift of a Canon 350D with a EF55-200mm EF55-200mm & a Kodak gear 80-210mm lens set.

I have never really tried photography, but now I would like to take it up as a hobby.

Any advice would be really appreciated as I am a complete novice, ie: books to help me etc?

Hi Mark. Nice camera to begin your new hobby with. I would just flick it onto the manual settings and get stuck in! Regardless of how many books you read, nothing beats practical experience. If you take a bad pic, just delete it!
