Not only new to the site, but also new to the big confusing world of SLR cameras.

I'm looking forward to browsing all the threads and learning lots, looks like a fantastic site with a wealth of information, lets hope I manage to learn quickly! :thumbs:
 
Hello!

I too am a newbie to the site and 'proper' photography.

I just bought myself a nice Canon EOS 400D last night, and although i haven't really used it, it feels right.

In the short time i've been a forum member, this site has helped me hugely on making my decision.

Also, the information on here is from real people, not just manufacturer brochures, again this has help loads.

Welcome to a slippery slope.
