Hello.
First of all I would just like to say, excellent forum. It's one best i've seen for help and advice!
I recently recieved a Canon 60D with Canon 18-200mm lens for my 30th from the other half prior to heading to WHistler for a snowbaording trip. The Canon was excellent for the first 10 days of the trip until it was stolen from the hotel room safe along with an ipad and GoPro and two 32GB SD cards filled with pics(which weren't in the cameras either!)
Thankfully my house insurance saved the day and i''m now on my second 60D in three months.
So far I've taken pics of garden birds and the Granite City Rally(round 3 of the scottish rally Championship). I'll post some up when i get home for you guys to cast your eye over them.
I'm planning on getting a Canon 100-400 lens for the rallies and airshows.
Cheers
Barry

It has a permanent home on my wife's camera now as I've moved-on a bit with lenses. Just be aware that once the (bird) bug bites, it gets more complicated and expensive.
