Hi all :wave:.. My name is Darrell and I am totally new to photography for the most part. I have bought myself a cheap Canon 1000D so I would be able to not only learn about things like exposure and shutter speed etc but could also see if I enjoy photography.

I am happy to say I am loving it :)

I want to focus more on Macro for the time being but being lucky enough to have alot of woodland/parks/fields around me I get to see alot of wildlife so will be looking to get into that side of things later on.

hello, i'm a new to digital but been at it for ever sheffield snapper. I hope you enjoy your new camera and as it happens my old dad has got a 1000d just today after i lent him one of my cameras. It looks a great little camera. :)

It's not a bad little unit for the price RF .. I didn't want to spend alot of money to then decided I didn't like it. I am already looking for a new camera which I will buy over the next couple of months.
