Just joined the site and thought I'd follow guidance and post a 'Hello' to everybody.
I have gotten the photography bug pretty late (mid-30s). Got my first DSLR a couple of years ago (Sony a390) as it was on a decent offer at the time. Was a complete newbie to it then and am not much more progressed now! So hoping to pick up some tips/pointers from these forums.
Got the a390 as an introduction to photography and will probably be looking to replace it next year when the Mrs gets back to work after maternity leave! So will also be on the lookout for buying tips.
I am from Wigan and generally use my camera for pics of the kids around the house/garden.
