South-West England Hello from a Cornwall Newbie!!

Hello Lee, I reside in Newquay although my Mrs thinks I live on the cliffs at St Agnes. Welcome to the forum.

I would also like to apologise for the weather we have had down here since yesterday morning, I bought myself a new(sh) camera, thus ensuring we will have bloody awful weather all weekend! :mad:

Im not too far from Newquay myself bearair but the opposite way so going towards Padstow...... so alot of my evenings have been towards Mawgan porth, Constantine, Treyarnon etc.... as i say im new to the whole photography thing so im literally using a kit lens but hoping to expand my kit soon. I dont know if im brave enough to post any of my shots just yet lol

Used to live in Mawgan Porth, spent a nice evening at Bedruthen Steps last weekend.

Know how you feel about posting pictures, put a few in one of the camera owners threads but not worked up courage to ask for critique yet! Shouldn't worry about what kit you have or how new you are, they are a friendly lot. I find photography to be a great excuse to get out to places, I was getting blase about what a beautiful part of the country we live in. If I am lucky enough to accidentally take a good photo that's a bonus!
 
Well i just posted my first pic up in photos for pleasure so i will see what people think :)

Hi Lee, my brother lives in Trelights which is a small village near Port Isaac, not a million miles from you. Lovely area of the world.
 
Indeed one of the worlds hidden treasures i think, port Isaac is a cracking little place but ive only ever passed through unfortunately
