I managed to stumble onto this forum a while back and it seemed pretty friendly so I decided to make an account
Well I can tell you my story and how I began photography, around 10 years ago I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, I had to quit work, and struggle with everything I did, coping with depression and all sorts of changes.
I kind of lost my passion for things, I played a lot of computer games, and became awesome at them, then I realized I needed a really hobby.
Having memory problems, forgetting what I had done the day before, I got suggested I take pictures from there it grew and grew, I found a new passion which I enjoy.
I came to realize that capturing the moment meant so much to me, we pass each day by not realizing what has gone past us, but now I can capture that moment of time. and forever keep it.
I have so much to learn and so many more pictures I need to take but im taking my time and slowly learning I have read a couple of guides here, they was pretty awesome, but me I struggle on remembering things. but with practice I will get even better
