Hello, I've been lurking on these forums for a while now, but didn't want to post until I knew I was close to getting my camera. I'm a complete newbie at DSLR, the only experience of digital photography I've had is with a Nikon point and shoot coolpix. Anyway, in the next week or two I'll be getting myself either a Canon eos1100d, Nikon d3100 or Pentax K-r I'm slightly favouring the Canon as it feels better in my hands but the Nikon has a good deal going with it and the Pentax also feels good problem with the Pentax as I see it is getting lenses. Of course I might just wait a few more weeks and end up buying secondhand descisions descisions!

Sadly if I were to spend over £500 on a camera at the moment I wouldn't be able to afford shoes
