hi all,
im john,im 39 and im from kent, i live on the south east coast of england, right by the sea. i have 2 6yr olds, boy and girl, and a 12 week old daughter who i love taking pics of. i bought a panasonic dmc fz100 back in oct 11 and have fallen in love with photography. up til then i was always snapping pictures with my trusty mobile phone camera and although i had the eye for a half decent composition, i lacked the equipment to take a half decent photo. since then my confidence has grown and im rapidly filling my hard drive with pictures that i always wanted to take. i chose a superzoom because i like to travel light, yet wish to be equipped to take a large range of photos from macro to long range.
my main photographic interests are "nature" and "landscapes" i also enjoy motorsport and as soon as the racing season starts here i'll be off to my most local circuit, Brands Hatch to get some pics.
im always looking to learn more and appreciate all comments and advice to help my improvement.
