Hi there, Ive been haunting this forum for some time now, but finally got round to signing up and hopefully gaining some valuable advice.
My knowledge is limited, only been snapping for 6 months or so, sparked off by a holiday i decided to upgrade my P&S kodak to a DLSR Canon. Managed to come by an extra lens, tripod and few filters.
My Gear is :
Canon EOS 1000D
18 - 55mm Kit lens
70 - 300 USM Canon lens
UV, Polarising Filters
Sturdy Ali Tripod that used to belong to my dad
3 of those cheap lens adaptors (fish eye, wide angle, telephoto)
I really want to get into Motorsport Photograhy, and sport in general, but also have interest in a site that friend got me looking at called derelict places, something i like the idea of as im quite into history and WW2 places etc, alot of which are now derelict / rundown etc.
I wouldnt even consider myself an ametuer as im really only just starting out, but in the short time ive been snapping, i feel ive got the hang of the camera basics. Still need to get out and about with the tri-pod though, i like the idea of light trails, long exposure at night etc.
Hope to be asking advice very soon, and i shall post some recent pics to give you guys an idea of my (lack of) skill.
Cheers
Jimmy
