I'm Andy and I'm an insomniac.

I recently took voluntary redundancy from Royal Mail and one of the first things I did was buy a dSLR. My old A1 has laid untouched in it's bag for a couple of years, but now with my new camera, I'm back and can't stop shooting.

Most of it's rubbish, but there are a few that I might feel confident enough to share at some stage, mainly to get pointers on ways to improve.

This is all quite exciting, it's aaaages since I was a noob on a forum

Be aware though that both photography and this forum are terribly addictive. Reminds me a little of hotel California "you can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave..."

Yeah I know what you mean, I've been a member of a Volkswagen forum for close to ten years.
