Hi,

My name is Tony and I'm from Norwich.

Looking into getting into photography a little more. I currently own a Sony DSC N1 although this is very limiting on what you can do as a user. I decided to take the plunge into Digital SLR photography recently, although I'm still looking for my first DSLR camera. Nearly bought a second hand Canon EOS 400D through ebay, however that sale seems to have fallen through :'( (using someone elses ebay account which transpires is not that clean :nono:). I intend to continue my search for my first DSLR (probably a 400D) and intend to do it off my own back this time so nothing goes belly up.

I am aware that I'm unable to post in the classifieds section yet, so my scope for finding the camera I want at a price I want lies with ebay unfortunately. I can't find any other shops online that will match the prices that people are selling for second hand. Being a n00b to all of this, I may well be looking in the wrong places though :thinking:.

Hi Tony and welcome, I just sold my 400D and grip on Ebay, I had to relist it a second time as the winning bidder had his account frozen. Stil got there in the end. Just keep searching and be patient and it will come to you :thumbs:
What kind of money will you have to buy one with?
 
Hi Tony and welcome. I think you may well be able to buy on the forum though, but I stand to be corrected. Clearly there are still some good buys to be had on ebay too if you research the sellers background or narrow the search to Norwich area so you can go and look at the goods first.

You can still buy things in the for sale section on TP you just cant Start a thread, you can reply to one already open though :thumbs:
