Hello Everybody,

I used to do a lot of photography with an SLR and film many years ago when I was a teenager. Life took over and I only took the occasional photograph with a basic compact for many years. This Christmas I was lucky to receive a Nikon D3200 SLR and some photography books. At the moment I feel very much a beginner but I am looking forward to getting to know you all while learning and improving my photography skills. I feel very excited beginning this hobby again.
 
Welcome to TP Jan, good to have you on board. There's loads of information and tutorials on the forum, you could also get involved in the competitions or 52's to really keep you motivated and learning. Posting pics is another way to learn.
