Hi thought i best introduce myself and give you a little info.
heard about this forum for a while but have now finally joined and from what i have seen i think i will enjoy it here
ive owned a DSLR since april 2010 (canon EOS rebeXSI/450D)
before that i had a fujifilm s100fs for about 6 months
but since April is when i got my canon is when i really started to get into photography.
i like Landscape most and that is now pretty much all i do, i use a sigma 10-20 with a grad filter and 99.9% of the time i use a tripod.
living in Eastboure is a great location for land and seascapes and spend many early mornings evenings down on the beach
i dont always like to get a picture and make itto how it exactly was, i like to add a creative edge to it and make it into something that reflects me and my style, a personal touch.
i shoot in RAW and only use lightroom 2 for my editing, being limited to what you can do in lightroom i find great, as things need to be almost perfect on the day, as i you can not go adding in a different sky or chopping to much about ect
here are a few of my fave pictures from the last 9 months
be great to get any feedback and advice
1: my 1st early morning landscape
2: 1st star trails
3: full moon from seaford
4: beachy head lighthouse
5: this was taken standing in manure
6: star trails from the other night over arlington reservoir
loads more work on my flickr and facebook
i have found landscape photography really addictive and love the challenge of finding great locations and doing what i can to make them look even better of give a different view to them, it makes you look at the world in a different way.
