Hi there. I'm Charles and I've just been given my first DSLR for my birthday. It's my Dad's old Canon 1000D and is a camera I've used a few times since he first bought it 2 years ago. He has just upgraded to the 600D so handed the 1000D down to myself.
I'm a beginner with a DSLR although I have been taking photographs for years.
My current kit is very basic and only includes the kit lens (18-55mm), a UV filter and a 4GB memory card. That's it. Except for my bag.
I'm hoping I will learn lots in my time on here and whilst using my camera.
