Hey Everyone,
I've just joined up so thought I'd introduce myself as I'm hoping to pick up some useful tips to develop my photography skills beyond being a bit of a novice.
My name's Alex, living in Northamptonshire. I've got a Canon 450D with the standard EF-S 18-55mm IS lens as well as an EF28-105mm and an EF70-300mm.
I used to have an EOS 300v but struggled to learn how to use it properly because of waiting to get pictures developed and then forgetting what the settings were for each shot I'd taken etc.
I've had the 450D for quite a while now and am getting on with it far better due to the ability to preview but still feel like I'm shooting in the dark (excusing the pun) with hit and miss results on full manual or apeture/shutter priority settings.
