Hello all, just as an intro -

Live in the Milton Keynes area, pretty new to a lot of forums of photography but would say the thought process is there an just need to learn all the capabilities of the tools

Interested in all areas of photography from Macro to sports, portrait to landscape!

Hi Nigel!

Thanks for the welcome! Do you know of any groups or clubs that are more hands on? Had a look at NCPS and will pop in.

I do travel frequently with work so
as far as commitment to courses is concerned, it's a bit of a no go really.

There's plenty to go out and shoot around MK etc if the current weather clears up!

I'm a member of NCPS and they are a nice friendly bunch of people. The club is very active with lots of practical stuff, competitions etc going on. I went along for a couple of weeks and paid a small fee each week before deciding to join.

I've recently got an assignment that keeps me away from MK during the week and also from attending the club meet on Thursday evenings, but I still keep in touch by sending in the odd pic for competitions

..... and as for the weather.....:bang:

Thanks for the info! Going to burn up to Brogborough lake for a spot of windsurfing and take the camera for when I'm burned out! Can't do the both unfortunately!
