Hello Everyone,
as the title says I'm a newbie who has just bought his first SLR, a Canon Eos 500D. I'm hoping it will be a good place to start, I was advised to go for more expensive but at the moment it was already more than i could afford.
I'm from Stafford so pretty central. I wouldnt say at the moment I have any particular favorite areas of photography but i'm sure I'll start to sway one way or another soon. I am hoping to do some astrophotography, moody landscapes and also a few interesting bits and bobs to put on my white walls at home....but all in good time.
I hope you're all prepared for lots of daft questions from me!
