Welcome to TP Andrius. Hope you enjoy.

How're you getting on with the 11-16? Is it worth the coin? I'm planning my next lens to be the 10-20 Sigma but I'm so penny pinching sometimes! I want the best glass possible for practically free!

this is not possible

Thats cool, does it give the dramatic wide angle effect? How much did you hand out for it?

And yes, I know cheap glass is either stolen glass or worthless glass haha!

well, it's best £500 i spent on wide angle lens :) it's simply amazing one. i even considering to buy more kit from tokina now. next lens will be tokina 100mm macro (on xmas maybe)

Just checked it out, your fruit shots are fantastic!

Ill give the splash stuff a try this week, maybe even tonight! any comments and tips on how you achieved your end product?

you mean orange ? :)

Exposure 0.006 sec (1/160)
Aperture f/10.0
Focal Length 105 mm
ISO Speed 400

used wireless flash SB-600 (built in flash works as commander and triggers SB-600)

nothing to fancy or special, i little bit of practice and you are ready to go.

BTW, make sure focus is MANUAL. and shoot shoot shoot

Yes, the orange one!
I'm using a Canon 500D and I have no availability of triggers and such. I will have a try just to see what I can do, it will probably be a disgustingly terrible attempt but an attempt none the less!

Looks like a much shallower depth of field! I'm assuming your 105mm is a macro lens? I only have a 50mm f/1.8 which gives me a not so great DOP.. but like I said. Ill give it a go :)

What's your favourite photo that you've taken since having a camera in your hands?

no, it's not macro lens. it's kit lens 18-105mm. make sure you use about f8-f12 to get as much detail in focus as you possible can (but for this you will need to bump ISO up to make shutter speed faster to capture non blury droplets).

just practice, that picture was my first (and only attmept). will get some more one day.

may favorite pictures (usually my beautiful wife) so they not appearing online

Awh!

Ill have a go with my 18-55 DC kit lens then! Ill post the results and quote you for C&C!
