Hi guys and gals, name is Dan and my brother has convinced me to dip into the world of photography after viewing some of the pics on this website and his own.

So yes it is your fault i have splashed out! lol joking :bonk:

I treated myself to a canon 500D kit with is kit lens and also purchased a 55-250IS canon lens.

Im more interested in the wildlife and landscape pics, im trying to read as much as i can to understand the various concepts ie shutter speed , apertures, ISO

So if anyone has any easy to learn guides please send me a few pointers :thumbs:

Im really looking forward to getting into it to be honest and hope to capture some good images myself in the not too distant future :)
 
i keep looking through the various phots on here and wondering how the hell id ever manage to take photos like them! :eek:

Have a flick through the Tutorial section here, plenty to get you up to speed :thumbs:.
