Hello all you TP folks!!! 
Well first off, im quite excited to be here, as the past couple of days i have been a lurker, just soaking up some much needed information and drooling at some fantastic images many members have posted, in the images section. I must say, at first sight, the forum looks like it will become one of the foundations of my knowledge; its bloody fantastic!
Anyway a bit about what im doing here..Since somewhat a year ago, i have developed a strong interest for photography! And until say 2 months back, i have finally decided its time to persue it further by researching in depth within the field and take the plunge in buying a DSLR camera! Now this is where hopefully, within the coming days, weeks & months, TP members will come in and help me... or so i hope
From the threads i have seen so far, i am in every way hopeful this forum will become more than a valuable asset to my photography and i hope the forum will gladly accept 'another newbie' to their wonderful community and aid in answering many many many questions i have coming your way!
