Hello all,

Can anyone explain to me how I can achieve HDR processing using Aperture 3 software?

Thank in advance for your replies.
Mark.

You can't.. is the simple answer.
HDR images are taken with at least three seperate images with varying exposures.. third party software (usually Photomatix) is then used to merge them and adjust the relevant layers.
You could do something similar in Photoshop I'd imagine.

Now I don't have Aperture and have never used it but this might give you a sort of hdr-ish effect (note it's not proper hdr)
Take the fill and recovery all the way up.
take blacks up a bit
Clarity up a fair way way (if you don't have clarity use the sharpening with a high radius low amount)
viberance or saturation up a bit.
Now ajust the sliders to suit, here I backed off the fill and recovery to lessen the OTT hdr effect, it's still too strong for my tastes but I have left it to show the effect better.

Thanks to all your replies on this subject ... I think I might invest in hydra ... Thanks also for the settings I have had good fun trying it out so far.
