These 'pseudo' HDRs from 1 image are best suited to moving subjects where the movement between shots would give 'ghosting'
I did some 'proper' HDR on a Whitby shoot a few months back and as it was very windy the camera moved enough to make aligning the images tricky. The best of the day was still a HDR from only 1 image rather than the bracketed sequence of 5 I was shooting for it!!!
I'm using Photomatix Pro3....
I have tried with landscapes for the most part but they just never seem to look as good as some of the other HDRs I have seen on here....
