HDMI cable for P.C to Monitor

Hi all , My HDMI cable is playing up , it keeps losing connection to my Dell Monitor . It feels to be quite a loose fit in the back of My Monitor , and hence the slightest movement seems to knock out the signal . I am assuming / hoping this is the cable connection . If so can anyone recommend a reliable HDMI cable I can replace mine with ?

Do both ends of your current cable have the same plug on them? If so, is the "computer" end a better fit in the monitor? If it's still a sloppy fit, the problem is the socket on the monitor.

Try squeezing the metal part closed a little, works with USB too

Thanks , I switched the cable round , it feels a better fit and seems to be working better on the first attempt . Thanks again .
