As said i used them and they were very good and kept me upto date, cheapest for d700 and come with an 3 years GUARANTEE , and the GUARANTEE WILL ENSURE YOU CAN HAVE A FAULT REPAIRED LOCAL TO YOU ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, also its transferable if you decide to sell.
i sent an email asking if it was they said it would not be a problem as long as a copy of the reciepts was sent if problem occured, and i thought the one you brought was transfered to you.Not according to the small print on the warranty form that came with my ex-HDEW camera........

To whom did you send the email, the warranty company or HDEW?
Come on Leeds tonight let's hope they win, they need to
what the heck has that got to do with "has anybody used HDEW camera's" :shrug:Not being a footie fan -what the heck has that got to do with "has anybody used HDEW camera's"
Not a football fan either, but guessing it is due to Scott's avatar.

JUst joined the forum as I'm getting back into photography. I bought a canon 7d a few months ago whilst in japan. Body was £700 equivalent so i couldn't resist. I just bought a canon ef 24-105mm f4 is lens from hdew. Price was unbeatable at £618.....yes £618 delivered! Lens was in a white box so I guess it will have been part of a 5d mk ii kit....but who cares? Lens is great...has the case and lens hood. I usually buy my gear when travelling...sometimes Japan or in the past Australia so I'm used to bringing in my own grey imports! Many of the uk stores are ripping us off big time so I say....well done hdew.
Oh....lens was ordered Friday afternoon and I received it the following Tuesday morning...great service.
