HDEW Cameras and Canon cash back

Hi All, I am guessing that given HDEW sell grey imports, that they don't qualify for Canon's recent cash back (their website is vague: 'Please note some of our products DO NOT qualify for UK Cashback'). Has anyone successfully claimed for a purchase via them?

Why I am confused is that isn't Kerso also a grey import seller? and I have read you can claim on purchases made via them.

I think you are right, though you can still make a claim if you made a purchase during the offer period.

Canon is clamping down on cashback for stock from these sellers, you may have got away with it before but I recently had a cashback claim rejected on a 70-200mm bought from bignorman.com. AFAIK hdew and kerso sell the same imported stock

Canon don't seem to know what their strategy is regarding people like HDEW, Ian Kerr etc.

Although Ian's stuff is imported it still qualifies for cashback. I have never had a claim rejected including my 70-200 I bought in the most recent offer
