Have swapped lens on D7000

Those of you who saw my Why would my old bridge camera produce sharper product shots than my D7000? thread might be interested to know that I have now swapped my 18-105mm VR lens for a replacement. And to my eyes, the replacement is much better!

Here's a couple of examples. Just quick snaps so I'm not looking for any critique! Focus point is over my little girls left eye.

Definite improvement!!! Good old Jessops for replacing it!

Definitely better! I had problems with my D7000 back focussing, returned it to Nikon who worked their magic and it's far better now.
