Have downloaded LR 3.4

This could belong in the computer section, but here goes: -

I have installed Lightroom 3.4, I have noticed in windows explorer, under the Adobe folder, I have a Lightroom 3.3 subfolder (I even have LR 3, 3.1 and 3.2 subfolders), to save on disk space, can I safely delete these older folders, or do the newer folders only hold the updated "bits" of the programme and should be retained?

You should be able to delete these.

All your presets and saved preferences are saved in a separate folder.

I deleted mine with no probs, just delete them (to recycle bin) try run it. If you have any probs just restore them.

They should be empty or contain just one folder in them. I usually just delete them.
