This documents Rob Kidnie's journey from the Cambodian border town of Chau Doc, down the Mighty Mekong river and through Vietnam, ending up in the East Sea. It was undertaken to raise awareness of plastic pollution and the throw away society that is so endemic in S. E Asia. Filmed over 12 days and finally pieced together the film charts Robs ups and downs as he meets the amazing and friendly Mekong Delta residents along the way.

Hmm, some nice shots in there, but it felt more like a collection of your favourite shots, than a story.

The first three minutes didn't seem to have too much to do with anything, and then after that, the guy was paddling, but why? I saw a bit of plastic, and then at the end it looked like he was in a classroom talking to the kids about his journey, maybe.

I think it needs much more story, more information beyond this guy paddled a long way, now go visit the website to find out anything about why.

There is a voice commentary for the first 3 mins but at the moment Im in Sydney and the guy is in Vietnam and the sponsors wanted to release the film right now instead of waiting for me to record the voice over in a couple of months.

I wasn't too pleased about it but its their choice, I did contemplate using just an Aussie guy to do the voice over, you in? My Aussie accent sounds like a cross between a Welshman and an Indian. Thanks for the comments.
