i am really chuffed :woot: [ i think i can use that phrase but it may have different meanings in different parts of the country!] to have been invited to next weeks Rugby World Cup quarter final at the Millenium Stadium. Is it worth taking the kit for some photography or will it just be chaos?

It look like being New Zealand v either France [boo] or Argentina [boo too!]

I have never seen the haka performed live before & the thought of it brings goosebumps!!!!

I am assuming you mean in a photographic capacity John...? Many congratulations on this, I live not far from the Millenium Stadium and I can assure you it's a fantastic structure. You're in for a treat... :)

From another John B...:)

Thanks John, can't wait. The people i am going with are concerned about the traffic[ its an 8 oclock kick off] so they have suggested that we meetin Cardiff between 1 & 2pm ""to avoid the crowds""

I love it

Hey John

it does get busy through the entire vicinity when there are huge events on at the Millenium Stadium. I live in Newport (about 11 miles East of cardiff) and on Wales 5 Nation International days, on the Cup Finals (no longer though as they are now back at Wembley) and at some larger concerts - even Newport is packed. As this is a 1/4 final, and one of the teams is New Zealand, you can bet your bottom dollar there's going to be a huge crowd, likely a sell-out.

I'd get there as early as you can. Where are you traveling from John...?

Can Ireland still not get to that stage?

ps See you there.....

Thanks John, i will be parking up at Bristol Templemeads & training it in.

With regrd to Irelands, yes they could be there BUT they have to stuff Argentia out of site & that seems to be highly unlikely at present.

All of the home nations appear to have been found out at these championships. At least being English we did not expect glory this time around however i will be glued to England/Tonga tonight- another must win match.

Sorry sounding like a geek now!

You can park up outside my place if you want to - no fees then. If I'm not here then a bus to railway stn is every 10 mins, and Newport to Cardiff is also just 12 mins by train every 10 mins or so.

I am just 3/4 mile from the M4 exit... errrrm.... 24 or 25 I think!!!!! (Caerleon exit)

Shout if you need directions and I'll PM ya.
