Hi,

Just started using Portrait professional Studio 64 on a mac. It has a huge tendency to over edit, but, with a few tweaks it gives some great image edits in a very short time due to the great auto edit function.

It's by no means better than photoshop, lightroom, etc, but if you're in a pinch and short on time, or not great at the detailed photoshopping (like me), then this could be a great purchase.

Have you guys used it? What do you think?

I used to use it a lot and was always very happy with what it did once toned down. But now I used Nik suite and some simple Photoshop instead. I agree with what you say about it being great for a quick fix. There are no doubt much better ways of retouching but if you aren't looking for magazine quality work I think it is fine. Nobody I have shot has ever complained after seeing a retouched shot of themselves.

We use it now and again, but as Ian says it's way too strong in the default settings, another popular one is Portraiture by Imogenic, not as clever as Pp but quicker.
