Has anyone got the user manual for the Elinchrom Skyports?

For the life of me I cannot find the manual to my Skyports and I need to check something out.

I havent used my triggers all that often but last night when I got them out I could not get it to trigger. I charged up the receiver so I know that is ok, but what I am not sure about is the transmitter battery but I havent really used it so that shouldnt be the problem.

Anyway when I turn on the receiver I get a blinking LED. Just curious to see if that stays solid when it sees the transmitter.

So does it always flash?

Cant say I have ever noticed before. Hoping then that its just the battery so will shoot out later and pick one up.

It just flashes on/off when the receiver is on.

It's stupid since you can never tell if transmitter and receiver are doing their job properly if something fails

I'd also check connection with the flash, that was my issue when I first got skyports.

I checked it on both my 1D and my 40D so it can only be the battery really...well I hope so anyway!

Good news is if anything has gone to pot then they are still in warranty!

The test button doesnt work either so it surely must be the battery then

Most of the Elinchrom manuals are available to download from their site

I think you need to register your e-mail with them and they send you a username and password to access them.
