Has anyone ever?

Where are you, Phil?

Would have thought it is too early for bats to be flying.

Dave

But in answer to your question - unfortunately not.

In de carrabeeeeun maaaaann lol.

St. Vincent - it's just after sunset and they are flapping around like anything.

Lucky you, I've never shot them but I have heard of it done, using a long exposure and then a burst of flash mid exposure to freeze the bat in frame, the set up I've seen involved a flash fired by bats breaking a PIR or Laser bases sensor

Interesting method and I'll bet very difficult.

Matt you'd love it here. The stars are coming out now - the sky behind me is full up with them!
