Yes
I don't know much about Nikon lenses but as I was surfing tonight I came across this ---> http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sigma-100-300mm-Nikon-Digital-Cameras/dp/B000A7B9T4
at Amazon. Looking elsewhere it seems to be a lot more expensive than 172 quid. Is this normal price or another misprint, pity it wasnt a canon fit.

As it is from a seller I would say you have more chance of winning the lottery than this misprice coming off!!! Having said that quite tempted to place an order and see what happens ;)

If you click on the used & new link you can see the sellers and under comments for the one that's £172 it says:

'EF-530 DG ST Flash for DSLR-A100, DSLR-A700'

Selling a flash, not a Sigma lens worth like £700 methinks?

Same as the next cheapest seller. The one after is over £600.

I think thats just a comment about another product, if you click on add to basket though it shows the lens name etc in the shopping basket, not the flash. Wonder whats wrong with it.

Yeah it's probably a sneaky way of doing it though, they list the item as the Sigma lens but in the comments it says what the item actually is so that the seller can claim no wrongdoing on their part...

I can't see anyone being able to sell a lens costing over £700 normally for under £200, even if it was imported.

You can't even get second hand ones that are covered in scratches and scuffs for that much...

Edit: If you look at the link now, those £170 ones have been removed, cheapest is £616.

You'd think a place like Amazon would'nt allow that practice...trade descriptions and all that or are they immune.

Yeah that's what I thought, perhaps they have realised and that's why it's been removed.
