I have returned to my passion of motorcycling, I want to combine my photography with this but I don't want to carry expensive gear without good protection. I have a small aluminium case but it will not fit in my panniers as they are rhomboid in shape. I am looking for ideas to find decent protection that can carry in my panniers. My existing case measures 17" x 11" x 6.5", if it was deformed into a rhombus it would fit just fine so I am looking for 1 case that will carry 1 pro body, 1 lens & 1 flash, or 3 small boxes that I can drop in the panniers. OK so it's long & complicated but someone out there must have ideas or seen suitable bits. :help::help:

I can only suggest that you take one of your panniers into decent retailer and see which of the soft camera bags will fit into it without too much free space or squashing.

Have a look at this link.
I have one of these cases when I just want a single body and lens and a few bits. I bought it with the padded dividers but more often than not just leave the padding around the sides and remove the internal dividers. It'd certainly be strong enough protection wise but I guess it comes down to size really. If you imagine the case on it's side (with the handle at the top) it's roughly 11" high by 12" wide and 8" deep. These are external measurements.

Thanks Bill, Looks good I'll check them out & try for size.

If i`m out on the quad or ATV, I use either a large or small Peli type case, depends what gear i`m taking.
