Has anyone had any dealings with them just lately, as they seem to have upped their game and now trade fair and square.

They are now called The Photographers Bag on ebay and I bought a camera at a very nice price without doing the normal checks and later found out who they were and was a bit worried that I may lose my money, not so, they emailed me lots of times letting me know my order had been processed an then again to let me know it had been dispached and gave me the tracking number and even when I took delivery they asked if everything was as it should be and if not to return the camera for full refund or reolacement.
Next I decided to give them another try, so bought a lens for Eileen and yep the very same courteous treatment.........I am impressed.

I know they had some very bad press a year or two ago but that was when it was being run by two couples and now it seems only one woman is running it and the ratings have shot up on the shop 99.9%

If I had known who they were when ordering the camera I would have walked away but after the service given I will use them again.

Anyone else had similar service from them

Are they also known as alldigital0869 on Ebay from somewhere in Staffs?

Often wondered where they source all the stuff from and think they might have wanted ads in mags like AP under the name cash4cameras aka Stafford Cameras

Why do these people have to trade under so many different names? is it like pubs that change their name if a shooting or similar has taken place there or just to avoid tax.

Do these type of trader ask for any provenance or am I just suspicious that nicked gear has to end up somewhere. Maybe its about time for a stolen photography gear serial number database.

(not accusing anyone named in this thread, just expressing my concerns in general)

Serials are on show in the hi res photos..........they make it quite clear, its a bad lot making good after the bad publicity, I would use them again they are good and deliver on or before time and after delivery ask if the product is ok and if not just return it for full refund with the label sent so it costs nowt to return..................I havent had to use this option but those who have are all100% which does say a bit................ good traders

Not my experience at all, I still get emails from people reading this page. alldigital0869 use the filterfantastic account to buy their goods. Filterfantastic have recently started selling again when their feedback went back up to 100%. Bunch of shysters.
