Looking forward to today... 7 kids has its advantages now and then :)

I am turning off notifications to this thread and not looking back into it as every year it turns into a morbid depressing "my dads dead day" thread ... So for now its Happy fathers day :)

Mine are still all vast asleep. And I'm hungry. I better wait for them to make me breakfast. :)

Glad someone has posted a Father's day topic.

Just opened my cards and one says KEEP CALM IT'S FATHERS DAY.

How nice to have such good advice........

You know, remembering my dad on this day is not morbid to me.
I'd apologise and say "I'm sorry if my missing my father makes you uncomfortable", but in reality, I'm not sorry at all.

I had a wonderful day. It was brilliant to see my wife both cut the lawn and cook a roast dinner at the same time :)

But highlight for me was that I finally got my youngest to cycle confidently, whilst our dog and eldest was chasing her.

Brilliant day.

I can see a lot of folk now taking notes JP..... "Teach child to ride a bike using a following pack of baying hounds and siblings"
Genius!

You know if we can't have fox hunts in the country side we have to think up something else :) it's a win win. Seriously though lots of smiles and giggles all round, including the hound. I loved it.

I had a good day. I received a card from my little girl (im told she picked it out/paid for it etc) and she had scribbled in it with orange crayon :D

Then we had a visit from my Dad for a spot of lunch, and chat about the leica M7 hes just purchased (not jealous at all!!!) Was nice to just spend a relaxing day with loved ones.

Now back at work...Booooo
